Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning serves as a resource hub for various student learning initiatives and services that help mitigate gaps in learning, support the understanding of course material, and improve student degree completion. Workshops and activities offered through the CTL are designed to build our student’s supplemental power skills such as communication, leadership, and business etiquette to students in preparation for careers as future leaders in our community.

The Center for Teaching and Learning also stimulates excellence in teaching and learning at Walsh, providing faculty and staff with ongoing resources, support, and professional enrichment opportunities. This includes facilitating collaboration between academic departments, integrating educational technologies, and developing effective teaching pedagogy.

Business STEM

The Walsh College Business STEM School would drive initiatives like the Walsh College and INSOFE’s Itech MBA that advance a transformational, international business STEM curriculum to offer creative solutions to traditional problems. Additional collaborative initiatives such as our study abroad program, launched in 2021, offer students the chance to augment their business education through firsthand experience with some of Walsh’s partners across the globe including London, England.

Investing in and supporting our business and STEM faculty and students through enhanced facilities, state of the art technology, and support for innovative scholarship will open possibilities for new, cross-disciplinary programs, such as the STEM MBA and ITECH MBA, and relevant programming that will carry Walsh College through the next century.

Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Walsh College Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) is a natural extension of our business and technology expertise, supporting innovative hands-on learning, collaboration, and entrepreneurship as well as faculty initiatives, research, and conferences. Serving as a direct link to industry, the CIE will work to support entrepreneurship and business development by offering external advisory services, venture funding, and mentorship.

The CIE is Walsh College’s commitment to advancing the knowledge and practice of transformative education, realized. The facilitation of cross disciplinary faculty and conference initiatives serve as critical corridors for the unification of industry with thought leaders to create highly applicable scholarship and industry application.
